Which grade will you have in the new session?
Countryside International School has grades from Nursery to grade 9th for the present year, next year planning is up to grade 10th, gradually will have till grade 12. Our school will explore the vision "Educating Children to Live Better Life".
How many students will have in every section and how many sections do you plan to have?
- In the Pre Primary Section, We have minimum 32 students in each class
- In the Primary Section, We have a minimum of 40 students in each class
Right now we have one section per class, but the sections will increase for the coming academic year.
Operational Areas : Transport, Fees, Food, Timings
Will the school provide transport in all areas of the city?
No, we have our specific pick up points area wise with the route planning, no door service is provided. However, we may try to reach the nearer places.
The transport charges are not included in annual fees charges.
Is the transportation is compulsory?
To avoid the inconveniences caused because of private transport services, Yes, we have our own planning as per the transportation area
Only in special cases like if your residence is outside that area or medical reason, only in such specific cases the children are allowed to have their own transport to reach the school.
Do your school provide the food in school? If yes what will be timing?
Yes, we provide the one time meal (unlimited Brunch) in our School.
The timing is between 9:40 A.M to 12:40 a.m.
Is it compulsory to opt for the School provided meal? Do you provide Jain food?
Mealtime is the 'We' Time so, it is promoted in our school that all the students to be served the same food and have it together with their Teachers in the common Dining area.
Yes, we do provide Jain food.
In case of a special issue like the child is facing any medical issue then the food can be provided from home but the medical details of the child along with the Doctor’s dietary advice is to be provided to the School.
Do you have your dining areas, menu of the food? How will the parents know about the food provided?
We have our vast dining area and canteen where the hygienic food is prepared by the chefs and served in proper hygienic manner.
We have a nutritionist who monitors the menu so that it is beneficial for the growing child and they do not face the problems related to health issues.
The upcoming food Menu along with its nutritional value is uploaded in the Website and the ERP by the last week of every month.
Will there be increase in fees?
Yearly the fees structure can increase from 2-10% depending on the management decision. In case if a child is shifting from pre-primary to primary and for higher grades the fees structure increases as specified in the fees structure.
What is the holiday schedule?
We have national holidays, Diwali vacation for nearly 3 weeks and our vacation starts from May first week till June first week.
What are the age criteria for each class?
We have different age criteria for the class wise

What system of assessment does your school follow?
The school follows continuous Assessments and enrichment learning system prescribed by CBSE.
I am looking for admission in class which you don’t have vacancy. What should I do?
We have 40 admissions in each section, if applicants exceed above this then we may consider for the second division for that grade after the management approval. We would recommend you to complete the application procedure and get the child to appear for informal assessments of previously acquired knowledge to understand the Child’s academic concept. Your application will be allotted waiting number and you will be given a call as the case may be for the admission.
What are the school timings? Will the school timings change over the years?
The school works for 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday and every fourth Saturday is the PTM. The timing for the classes is as follows:

Do you have parents’ teachers meeting? How often?

Every month fourth Saturday will be a PTM- Parent Teachers Meeting.
We have our special seminars and workshops for students, parents, and grandparents, which is conducted as per the schedule or as per the curriculum. Apart from this the parents are free to take an appointment and have a meeting with Vice Principal, Head Mistress or with Principal of the school.
What sort of parent involvement do you expect? Does the school give homework?
Parents play an important role in supporting the School system. Home assignments/ worksheets are a method to reinforce the acquired knowledge and even provide the child with regularity in practicing what he/she has learned. Homework, syllabus, and exam schedules are uploaded on an application of our school and we want our parents to be updated about the activities and syllabus pattern.
Details of the same can be collected after the admission.
Do you have any co-curriculum and extra curriculum activities during the school hours?
In the countryside, we integrate a wide range of activities within our overall educational program. The activities like Music, Art, Dance, Robotics, Sports, Yoga, Gymnastics, Skating, Karate, are undertaken.
The Learning Planets Zone is very useful for our students from Kindergarten (Kibbutzim) and Grade 1 & 2 students to develop their overall morale, motor, emotional and mental skills.
Duration of each period is 35-40 minutes
- Saturdays is a Bagless day and the focus is on is burdenless education which caters to various learning planets activities and Life skills.
- These Life skills are subjective to the various age groups and different skills are acquired in each grade.
We also have activities which are catered during games period which are as follows:
Sports (indoor and outdoor) Football, Cricket, Athletics, Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Carrom, Chess, Darts, Hand Ball, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, and Basketball
Dance: Folk, contemporary, hip-hop, Indian, western dances
Music: Music has electives between Vocals, Music Keyboard, Guitar, Tabla and Harmonium.
Is help provided to the students who are fresh for the particular sports?
We have our sports coaches who are responsible, expert and trained to guide the students in particular sports activity.
How would be educational tours organised?
The educational tour and excursion will be organized to make aware the child about our nature, cultural, historical and heritage. There can be tours related to their educational development and field trips depending on their grades.
Are there any extra efforts taken for the “slow learners”?
Our school is an inclusive school which takes special attention towards child’s developmental skills in the main stream class rooms, wherever needed we have inculcated parallel teaching to accommodate the lazy learners.
Infirmary:
What if any child needs any medical aid?
The campus houses an infirmary, a medical unit for primary first Aid.
The child will be taken to Trust owned multi-specialty hospital BAPS if needed. The parent will be informed by calls and only after their permission the medical treatment will be given to the child.
Admissions:
What is the process of admission and when will the admission start?
- Fill in the inquiry form [clearly indicating ‘Call Back’ if a vacancy is available]
- Be alert for the ‘Admissions Open’ dates
- Contact the school for the Interaction/ readiness Test based on the acquired knowledge
- Wait for the call back after the list of vacancies is declared
- Come with all the documents mentioned in the checklist provided when the child appears for readiness test
- Fill in the first quarter fees for confirmation of admission
- Contact the stores for Uniform, Shoes, etc as guided by our Admission Counselor.
